The steps for officiating a wedding can vary depending on where the ceremony will take place, as each state has its own way of doing things from issuing the marriage license to getting it recorded

Our ordained ministers are legally authorized to perform weddings anywhere in the United States. We work closely with couples to customize the ceremony to their preferences, beliefs, and love story. From spiritual or non-religious ceremonies to interfaith and vow renewals, we ensure your wedding reflects your values and vision.

We also provide guidance on the marriage laws of your local jurisdiction, ensuring that your ceremony is legally binding. After the wedding, we ensure the proper completion and filing of your marriage license with the appropriate county office.

Determining the Cost of Officiating Services

There is no set fee for hiring a FIMNC minister, instead a donation to FIMNC ranging from $200–$800 is customary, depending on the level of personalization, and the complexity of your event. For couples on a budget or those seeking a simple, no-frills service, low-cost options are available..

The final cost for your wedding depends on several factors. Below are the key considerations that may affect the amount of your donation:

Date & Time of Service

  1. Weddings scheduled during peak times (weekends, holidays) may require higher donations than weekday ceremonies.
  2. Evening and late-night ceremonies may include additional fees.

Travel Preferences

  1. On-site Ceremony: Our ministers will travel to your wedding location anywhere in the USA. We'll connect you with an available minister in our network.
  2. Travel fees vary depending on distance and location. Some destinations (such as remote beach weddings or island ceremonies) may require additional arrangements and costs.

Service Type & Affiliation

  1. Religious, spiritual, or secular ceremonies are available based on your preference.
  2. We can accommodate specific denominational or non-denominational requests.

Minister Needed at Rehearsal

  1. A wedding rehearsal is strongly recommended to ensure a smooth ceremony.
  2. If you would like the minister to attend and lead your rehearsal, this service will be factored into the cost.

Date & Time of Rehearsal

  1. Just like the wedding itself, the date, time, and location of the rehearsal may affect pricing, especially if travel is required.

Number of Guests

  1. Larger weddings may require additional planning, use of microphones, or coordination with event staff.
  2. Ceremonies with over 100 guests may have a slight increase in officiating fees due to extra preparation and coordination.

Base Pricing

Below are our base pricing key considerations that affect pricing:

  1. Ceremony: $200–$800
  2. Rehearsal: Additional $100
  3. Travel in State: First 50 round trip miles included. Additional miles at $0.55 per mile.
  4. Travel outside State: Client provides round-trip air travel, hotel accomodation, and meals.
